The 1987 911 Carrera received a remap of the Bosch engine management system that was introduced in 1982 along with the 3.2-liter engine, giving it a boost of 15 more horsepower, up to 217 bhp. Porsche also replaced the long-serving 915 transmission with the 5-Speed Gearbox hydraulic G50 unit, which was able to handle more power and torque in 1987 and beyond. This stunning 911 Coupe “Survivor” comes to us in Felsengrun (Granite Green), with Burgundy Leather interior. Factory options including Power Heated Sport Seats, Rear Wiper, 15×7-15×8 turbo width Fuchs wheels with Komfort package, Front and Rear Spoilers, Metallic Paint, Sunroof, and Carpeting in the front Boot. Added by a previous owner was an upgraded Alpine Stereo.
This is a truly beautiful and rare Porsche; we just don’t see enough of them around anymore. This 911 has been part of the Weissach family for many years and we have full service history.
We are calling this a Survivor car and recently undergone the full Weissach treatment including a first class detail that has really made a huge impact after all the mechanicals were addressed. For the true 911 classic car lovers, this presents an opportunity to indulge yet again and drive a modern legend!
