    Position Summary

    The Financial Services Representative for Lamborghini Calgary, offers vehicle financing options to customers and provides customers with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties, including educating customers on manufacturer and dealership services, policies and procedures, to enhance and support the customer’s buying experience and our brands. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Lamborghini Calgary, this position also has an indirect reporting relationship, and works closely with the Financial Services Manager, Weissach Vancouver, on training, sales targets and profitability for the department.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Finance and Leasing Sales:

    • Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers and provide a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties
    • Educate customers on financing options, terms and conditions – interest rates, buy-out, penalty, lender options
    • Sell F&I products – warranty and protection packages
    • Build a network of lending institutions and maintain good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
    • Process financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approval through financial sources
    • Understand and comply with provincial/local regulations that affect new and used-vehicle and finance department
    • Create and maintain a program with the sales team that will ensure all new sales are referred to the finance team
    • Provide the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended services

    Finance Administration:

    • Process credit applications for clients
    • Stock in vehicles to our CRM System – 180
    • Prepare buy-in documents
    • Receive and process deposits and process remaining payments
    • Record F&I sales in 180 for accounting team reconciliation of accounts
    • Complete contracts with clients with appropriate information and signatures

    Position Requirements/Qualifications

    As the Financial Services Representative, you are knowledgeable about F&I and aftersales products and services. In addition to a minimum of 2 years experience in an automotive sales role, this position requires:

    • AMVIC License
    • The ability to reach sales targets contributing to profitability for the department while controlling expenses and maintaining strong customer relationships
    • Keep abreast of Provincial/local regulations that affect operations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build trust with customers, employees and F&I vendors
    • High level of detail orientation
    • Strong organization and administrative skills
    • Experience with DMS applications
    • Business and general sales knowledge are essential
    • Strong computer and marketing skills are also an asset

    Working Environment

    This position is full-time during dealership hours in an office environment and is customer focused. There are frequent interruptions and the requirement to build working relationships with employees and customers to ensure a quality experience for the customer.
